"I became interested in the plight of the Palestinians during a visit to the Holy Land. Our guide was a young Palestinian whose family have lived in Bethlehem in the West Bank for generations. I leaned a lot about the history of the region from him and felt I would like to contribute in some small way to making life better in his community. PfPUK has given me that opportunity. As a teacher I understand how important it is for children to have access to playgrounds to develop socially and physically, and of course have fun with their friends in a safe environment. It is uplifting to see and hear the joy and excitement of the children playing in the playgrounds built by PfPUK in the photos and videos on the website."
