Aheba El Tefel, Gaza

Aheba El Tefel, 2018

The Gaza Strip is home to a population of approximately 1.9 million people, including some 1.4 million Palestine refugees. Years of conflict and blockade have left 80 per cent of the population dependent on international assistance. In 2018, the average unemployment rate reached over 50 per cent with over one million people reliant on food aid. Clean water is unavailable for 95 per cent of the population, and availability of electricity is spasmodic and unreliable.

There are very few playgrounds in Gaza yet there are over one million children.

The video shows how worthwhile your donations are, so thank you!
