Rashidieh Refugee Camp, 2019
Rashidieh refugee camp is located on the coast, near Tyre, and hosts many Palestinian refugees.
The playground is open to the public and serves thousands of children. It was completed in 2019, in record time, so that local children woke up to it for Eid al Adha, one of the holiest days in the Muslim calendar. We are proud, and moved, to see children enjoying their playground in the video below. Our thanks to everyone who made this possible.
