HOW YOU CAN HELP
Help us be better known

Talk about our work with others. Like us on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram. When you buy online please do so through 'Easy fundraising': it costs you nothing, but when you buy, online companies like Sainsburys and John Lewis donate a small amount to our cause. Every little helps!
www.easyfundraising.org.uk/
And of course, if you can, please donate. Your generosity can make a difference to the lives of children.
Fundraising

Could you have a good time and raise money for Playgrounds for Palestine UK at the same time? Please let us know if you would like to help - we would love to hear from you.

Some ideas are below, with thanks to all those who have worked hard to fundraise on our behalf.

Communities

Could you work with others in your workplace or community to raise the funds to build your ‘own’ playground in Palestine, named for you?  Involving everyone builds morale and helps establish a community or team spirit, whilst helping others.

The equipment for each playground is about £12K.
Together we can dream. Together we can help to make the lives of children just that little bit better.
Here are just some of our fundraising events.
Newnham Book Event

Well known authors Michael Rosen, Beverley Naidoo, Elizabeth Naird, Anne-Marie Young and Anthony Robinson supporting Playgrounds for Palestine UK. The proceeds from the evening were very generously donated to help build playgrounds for children who have so little.

Singing Day

"Many of us aren’t singers (except in the bath or Church!).  Fortunately that didn’t stop us, and, partnered with some brilliantly talented musicians and wonderful guidance, we were all able to contribute and help raise money for such a great cause.  We ate a delicious lunch which helped us tune our vocal chords for the afternoon before performing to our friends and family in the evening.  It was such a memorable day." And this is the bear, complete with sash saying Playgrounds for Palestine UK, generously donated then raffled to raise money.

Three Peaks Walk

The Yorkshire Three Peaks may only be 24.5 miles in total but it is extremely challenging, with over 5000 feet of ascent. Add to that dodgy hips and atrocious weather, and we are in awe of ex-trustee Frank (and his son) who raised over £1700 for PfPUK.

Barn dances

The barn dance held at Hampstead Norreys in West Berkshire was such a success that they held another the following year (and were planning a third but Covid-19 struck)!

Thank you to all the supporters for making these events so successful, and to Harriet for such magnificent food.

London Marathon

Emma, marathon runner extraordinaire, raised over £2.5K for Playgrounds for Palestine UK, including a very generous donation from South Woodford Mosque. Thanks Emma!

"I was delighted to be selected to run the London Marathon for Playgrounds For Palestine UK.

I was determined to raise vital funds for a cause that many are unaware of and the injustices that are faced everyday.
As I was privileged to have been born in London with access to so many opportunities that many take for granted, including many playgrounds, it was only right that I did my bit to try and make a difference, if only a little. I believe that even if you change one person's life in your lifetime then you pave the way for others to follow. I will always be proud to be a charity ambassador for Playgrounds for Palestine UK. May they continue to build many more playgrounds across Palestine."
